A "Gentle" Reminder

Please hand in your travel forms, GIRO forms, green life cards, and PHOTOS for the green life cards (if you haven't) by THURSDAY. Thanks.

And for those of you who check this, tell those who don't to - it's kinda hard for me to pass messages around the class without exploding my handphone bill with SMSes because I don't take GP, so it's harder for me to delegate information to everyone else in class...

Cooperation is appreciated. We need ALL of those in by this week.

Last Week of School

People, it's last week of term 2! I know by the time I put this up many people are already like 12 hours into Pre-U seminar (to you 7 there, hope you're having fun).

Anyway, few things I feel need to be settled soon... Firstly, I was thinking of having class outing during holidays, and also if you want form your own small study groups and study during the holidays, cause immediately after are our Common Tests!

Another thing, this Friday's Naval Base Trip is for ALL.

and following after, is TPJC Runway. Jacq and Cindy have dresses made for it, and Cheng Hung is performing as well, so please go and support them!

Oh, and also, there's Choir Night, and if you need tickets, maybe SMS Steph or something cause she's at Pre-U seminar.

"Midsummer's" Last Minute Details

Okay, straight to the point today...

Midsummer Night's Dream
7.30 at Fort Canning Park
Gates Open: 6.15
Meeting Time: 5.30
Meeting Venue: Dhoby Ghaut MRT Control Station
Meeting Waiting Time: 30 minutes (Meaning we leave Dhoby Ghaut at 6)

Few things we had to handle... Food, and Sitting area...

Food
Bhavna will be bringing assorted kinds of Finger Food (Nuggets, etc.)
Nafisah will be bringing chips (but not too many, cause we can't eat them)
Eleanor and Ee Ting will be handling Pizzas (our staple :D)
Melissa will be bringing muffins
Cai Xiang and Gisella are bringing sandwiches

Okay, simply put, the muffins, finger food and sandwiches can be eaten during the show, because they don't have a very strong smell that will distract others, neither does it make alot of noise when you eat them, so yah.

The pizza and chips, we have to eat before, or after the show, so as not to disturb others.

Mats/Shelter/Sitting
Basically, Wyntrice has gotten permission to loan a big groundsheet from the SC room, which is really quite big. Not sure if it can fit everyone, so if you can, bring your own groundsheet as well.

Hope we'll have a fun time (thyme) tomorrow :D

We're Officially Free this Saturday

Okay, we no longer have to attend College Day, so those who aren't performing for College Day can stay home, or go out or something.

Stop asking me for the password, this blog has been set up with the same darn account as my own blog, so don't ask for the password. If you want in, post a comment with your blogger username and maybe even email (of course, identify who you are) There are a few things to keep note though:

Some of you won't get to post - it's just messy if 20 people post at the same time. I can give you all the permission to do so - in case you have really important stuff to announce, but I'll come up with some posting guidelines should it start getting messy.

I still have not gotten much response for Midsummer's Night dream... So I don't know what plans you guys are having. I'll repeat again incase you guys still don't know - It's picnic style, so we get to bring our own food/drinks and mats to sit on. If you don't want to sit on the grass and spoil your clothes, start volunteering yourself to bring something, be it food, drinks or mats. Those who volunteer last won't be volunteering, but rather "strongly encouraged" to bring stuff which may be in shortage.

Calender!

Okay, I got a calendar up, cause The Great One requested that we should put one up for easier reference, so for stuff like Agenda and all that, just refer to the calendar. Will still use the Post/Comment system to organize more stuff, like give details on events. Still waiting for your feedback for what we should do on Midsummer's... Few things to note, seating starts around 6, so we can start choping seats... Someone gave ideas of where to seat (cause her friends already went), so yah.

Still, we haven't settled:
1) Food
2) Drinks
3) Transport
4) Meeting time for you people who can make it early
5) How we're gonna be sitting on the ground

Keep in mind the event IS picnic style, and that they'd be selling stuff there, so if you don't want to lug stuff there, you can - but remember that it's at fort canning park, and that they'd be plenty of people hungry for food, so expect the prices for those stuff sold there to be sky-high... In short, better to bring your own.

Midsummer Night's Dream

Regarding the fact that the homework/agenda will be going all the waaay down after I add more posts, I will constantly add more "Agenda" posts to make sure they stay on the front page, so don't have to worry about that...

Just a gentle reminder... This Friday is Midsummer Night's Dream

Midsummer Night's Dream
Friday, 18th May, 7.30pm
Fort Canning Park
Meeting Time: Latest 7pm

For those who won't be free before that (canoeing, other cca, etc.), please try to be there by 7, because past then we might not be able to reserve seats for you (angry people who can't get good seats might complain and say we're hogging up space)

For those who are free, you can form along with a few others to go there and hoard space first, and if you all are extremely free, go shopping nearby or something.

For those who have mats or anything comfy to put on the grass (i'm suggesting sleeping bags), you can bring it along, and remember to share

For those who want to bring food and beverages, please do so and if you can, share :D

Further inquiries ask around, we might decide to order pizza, depending on situation and budget.

Enjoy :D

Agenda

Hey all! Haha, I wasn't joking when I said I was going to start a class blog okay! For those who are interested in having permission to this, just send me (by email or just comment) your account or something like that and I'll add you in.
