"Stop Procrastination!" Campaign
I know this might sound a little harsh and hypocritical, but I think it's getting to a point where it's dangerous and it endangers our whole class's lives (literally, our grades in JC is gonna affect our lives, you know)...
We have to stamp out procrastination. Now.
I don't have to be in GP class (that doesn't mean this message isn't addressed to the KI students as well) to notice that many of us (I say us, because I know I procrastinate as well) have been procrastinating WAY too much.
What's with all the moans and complains about not being able to finish homework? If we can't finish our homework, I suggest we all stay in on weekends to complete it, cut down on internet surfing or TV time, form study groups if necessary to complete it, rather than go out with our friends. If we have to skip our CCAs to complete our work - I would like to mention that homework is the BARE MINIMUM of work that we should be doing to keep up to standard, and that CCAs are NOT academic.
Being nearly a MONTH behind for school work is not healthy. (Not in the not enough vitamins and proteins kind of way, but yah.)
We have to take promos at the end of this year, people, and Mid-Years are in a matter of WEEKS. This is absolutely no time to be slacking off.
I understand holidays are partially for R&R, but that doesn't mean we stop being full-time students. We're called that for a reason.
If you want to think I'm being and a**hole, a bastard and a hypocrite about this, I want to tell you that this note is also supposed to remind myself about my own procrastination problem.
It's the holidays and still there are complains that people cannot complete their homework for the extra lessons?
We're nearly halfway through our holidays, which means its about only 20 days more to our first formal JC exams. I'm sure we are capable, the question is only if we're willing.
I know this class is a lot more than what we're showing at the moment.
